On June 12th, we traveled to German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen for our Critical Design Review (CDR) — a major milestone for the CAPILUX project. We received a lot of helpful feedback from the experts and had some great discussions. It was also great to reconnect with our fellow REXUS teams and learn more about their experiments. During the visit it was confirmed where the CAPILUX experiment will be integrated within the REXUS 38 rocket. We also had the privilege of witnessing the assembly of both the service module and the parachute system. Up next: experiment manufacturing and the Integration Progress Review (IPR).
