Riga Technical University’s High Power Rocketry Team (RTU HPR) is the first student high-power rocketry team in the Baltic states. The team was founded in 2020 by Pauls Irbins and Andrejs Puķītis as a part of Riga Technical University’s Vertically Integrated Project (RTU VIP). Since then the team has launched two high-power rockets (VIP-1 and Swift), provided more than 20 students of various disciplines with real engineering experience and participated in multiple aerospace events around Europe.
